Pokuase Youth Association (POYAS) is a community-based non-governmental organization committed to empowering young people in Pokuase and surrounding communities through education, skills development, mentorship, and civic engagement. The Pokuase Youth Association, in collaboration with Women for Sustainability Africa, organized a tree planting exercise to promote environmental sustainability in Pokuase. Over 120 trees were planted across basic schools and key locations in the community, ensuring a greener and healthier future. Continuous care and maintenance efforts are in place to nurture the trees, reinforcing our commitment to climate action and community development.
