Miss Pokuase Beauty Pageant

Miss Pokuase Beauty Pageant is a key highlight of AbeleFest, celebrating young women through a showcase of intelligence, culture, talent, and leadership. More than a beauty contest, it empowers contestants to engage in public speaking, talent displays, and community projects. The winner serves as a youth ambassador, promoting education, health, and development across Pokuase.

Cultural Night & Storytelling

Cultural Night & Storytelling is a cherished part of AbeleFest, dedicated to preserving and celebrating the rich heritage of the Ga people. The evening features traditional music, dance, attire, and oral storytelling—bringing history, values, and ancestral wisdom to life. It’s a night of pride, learning, and connection, where generations come together to honor their roots and pass on cultural knowledge to the youth.

Community Cleaning Exercise & Health Walk

Community Cleaning Exercise & Health Walk marks the active beginning of AbeleFest, promoting cleanliness, wellness, and community spirit. Residents come together to clean public spaces, raising awareness about sanitation and environmental responsibility. This is followed by a health walk, encouraging physical fitness and unity. It’s a powerful demonstration of collective action toward a healthier, cleaner Pokuase.
