Community Health Initiatives

Building Healthier Communities Through Youth-Led Action

At POYAS, we recognize that true development starts with the health and well-being of our people — especially the youth. Our Community Health Initiatives are designed to address key public health issues while promoting active youth involvement in creating cleaner, safer, and more informed communities.

Through a range of outreach programs, awareness campaigns, and hands-on activities, we equip young people with the knowledge and tools to become health advocates in their homes and neighborhoods. Whether it’s leading sanitation drives, organizing clean-up exercises, or promoting hygiene practices in schools, POYAS youth are at the forefront of grassroots health improvement.

We also collaborate with local health centers, professionals, and traditional leaders to conduct free health screenings, mental wellness talks, and community health education sessions. These initiatives not only help prevent illness but also foster a culture of proactive self-care and mutual support.
